Mawla ya Salli wa Sallim
In the spirit of Ramadan and upcoming Eid inshallah – I would like to share with you one of my most favorite Islamic Naats (aka song). I don’t speak arabic, but I have a feeling that this song is very popular, because the tune and words are just so beautiful. Other Islamic songs include lyrics (the chorus) from this famous Islamic Naat. The video is nice because it includes the english translation. I’ve also included it below – both in transliteration and translation. Please listen to the video, I’m sure you’ve probably heard it sometime in your life. And if you haven’t I believe you will fall in love with the beauty of the speakers voice, the meaning and the tune. Mashahlah!
